The nightmares and violent dreams of this patient pour forth in an emotional session. This conscious sharing of his thoughts and deep hurt help him see how he has hurt others and continues to hurt himself.  Although the dreams continue his sleep is less dreadful as he continues to process the problems and turmoil of his past life in the military. He begins to change his anger and either or, black or white, good or bad orientation to some shades of gray and different shades of color and emotions begin to enter his consciousness.
