Mamo-wai - Water Source   8"x11" matted photo
This Digital IR Photo from Queen Lili’uokalani Park: Mamo wai-Water source: The man had come to therapy reluctantly; he didn’t want to look to closely at his life. Like looking into the waters at the park, he could see shadows and branches. It felt like he was drowning and that he’d be happier without a real life even though others kept telling him to get a life. He knew the only thing he was any good at was his job and so he buried himself in it. He knew what to expect there; it was safe and he knew what he was supposed to do. Unlike the murky waters of relationships that seemed to shimmer with promises that never seemed to come true.  He was hoping to learn more but was afraid to look to deeply or to long.
