Lua ola Maoli – Matchless indigenous   30 x 40:
The fires of passion used by a local Hawaiian man to cover up his lack of a life spring forth to his conscious as waves of fire and light allow him to see his indigenous culture as matchless and freeing him to pursue his own unique trip in his life.  The fires overlap and become a continuing source of his emotional strength. The emotions ripple into each other and provide a complex and infinitely interesting  landscape of his life. If you look closely you can see many faces throughout this painting, look for the eyes first.
