This woman was flying high with career and family when she was struck down by cancer and had radical mastectomy and radiation and chemo treatment. She remembered a black bird from her youth. She found the bird fallen to the ground and took it to a veterinarian and together they helped the bird back to life.  She used this analogy in her own healing so that she too, could fly again.
