The artist, Steven Pollard, Ph.D., is a practicing psychologist in Hilo, Hawaii who uses the rich depth of conflicting and convergent thoughts and emotions of therapy sessions to create abstract oil, acrylic, and water color paintings with deep vibrant colors and surprising shapes and a sense of wonder and fluid motion. The originals are digitized and worked in Photoshop CS and Painter IX and then printed to canvases. He then paints on top of the digitized canvas with either oils or acrylics to give the canvas more texture, depth, and feeling. Learn more about the Artist »
